My passion for design accelerated in my early teens under the influence of DIY youth cultures and has never expired. After two years of training in design, with a focus on classic Typography. I applied for design school and started studying Brand Communication and Design.
I absorbed everything related to Design Thinking and the Psychology of Branding, but I couldn’t envision working in a classy advertising agency. I decided to take a break from the design world and applied to the Universidad de Barcelona to study Fine arts.
There I discovered enthusiasm for moving images. While doing video Installations during the day
I studied digital animation and CGI during the night. After two years, I returned to Germany and finished my studies with an honors degree focusing on Motion Design. I moved to Italy and worked in Milan as a freelance Motion Designer before I returned to Germany again to work for a Design and VFX-driven Production company in Hamburg.
While developing concepts and designs for extensive VFX and design-driven Commercials, I realized quickly that my fascination for conceptual thinking and Storytelling outrivaled every aspect of being a Motion Designer. After three very intense years and a better picture of the industry, my inner desire to move on made me freelance again.
Since 2015 I have developed concepts and directed Commercials and Branded Content for Brands like Nike, Mercedes, Adidas, Instagram, and Porsche, to name a few. Twenty years after I started my training in graphic design and a long, intense journey of constant learning and self-exploration between business and passion, I found my true purpose in helping others with their Strategy and Direction so they can positively impact our world.
